Hanai: nourish, feed Mea’ai: nourishment
Anthony Aiu, one of our directors was part of this ongoing series initiated by A/P/A institute at NYU. The series brings light and attention to Pacific Island and Asian forwarding organizations, groups, artists, and culture in the New York area. Anthony shared insight on his choreographic practice and some of the behind the scenes footage of current and previous works over the last few years and touched on the costly reality (emotional, energetic, and temporal) of existing and creating in these creative practices of nourishment.
