WORLD PRIDE NYC

We are always happy to support members of our Pacific Island community in whatever ways possible. When the directors of U.T.O.P.I.A. invited us to march with our brothers and sisters for NYC pride in 2017 and again in 2019 for World Pride NYC, there was no hesitation. We will never forget the immense energy and love shared as we paraded our iconic pacific island dress throughout NYC and to stand for love, equality, and humanity. Behind the multitudes of screaming and shouting is a deeper connection for those in our community who do not feel they have a voice. To see individuals in tears or plowing through the crowds to share their love and appreciation to us for representing and standing for them is something that will never fade.
